From South Yorkshire To The US

This is a really exciting moment for me, and something I’m very proud to finally share.

We are expanding into the US with Scented Supplies.

When I first started Supplies For Candles from my garage in South Yorkshire, I never imagined that one day we would be taking what we had built across the world. At the time, I was just trying to make the business work. I was packing orders myself, working long hours, making mistakes, learning every day and trying to build something that could become successful.

There was no big plan back then.

I just knew I wanted to create a business that gave people the products, support and confidence they needed to start something of their own.

Over the years, that has become one of the biggest parts of our journey. We have supported thousands of customers who started with an idea, a hobby or a small business from home. Some were making candles, some were making wax melts, some were building home fragrance brands, and some were simply trying to create something better for themselves and their families.

That has always meant a lot to me.

I know what it feels like to start from nothing. I know what it feels like to be unsure, to take risks and to wonder if all the hard work will ever pay off. That is why I have always wanted our businesses to be more than just places where people buy products. I want them to be places that help people grow.

Now, with Scented Supplies, we are taking that same mission into the US.

This is not just about launching another website. It is about taking everything we have learned over the years and using it to support a new market. The US has an incredible home fragrance industry, with so many talented makers, creators and business owners building brands of their own.

I think there is a huge opportunity there.

People want quality products. They want reliable suppliers. They want good service. Most importantly, they want to know that the company they are buying from understands what they are trying to achieve.

That is something I really care about.

When you are building a business, every detail matters. The wax matters. The fragrance matters. The packaging matters. The delivery matters. The customer service matters. If one thing goes wrong, it can affect your whole day, your orders and your customers.

I understand that because I have been there myself.

That is why Scented Supplies is such an important step for us. It gives us the chance to bring our experience, our product knowledge and our customer focused approach to makers and businesses in the US.

It is a big step, and I will not pretend it is simple.

Expanding into a new country brings new challenges. There are new systems to build, new customers to understand, new logistics to manage and a new market to learn. But I have always believed that growth comes from pushing yourself into places that feel uncomfortable at first.

That is where you learn the most.

When I look back at the early days, it still feels strange to think how far things have come. From a garage in South Yorkshire to launching in the US, it has been an unbelievable journey. But none of it has happened overnight. It has taken years of hard work, determination, lessons, setbacks and a team of people who care about what we are building.

I am really proud of that team.

Businesses are not built by one person. They are built by people who turn up every day, solve problems, support customers and keep moving forward. I have been lucky to have amazing people around me who believe in the vision and help make these things happen.

This next chapter is about growth, but it is also about purpose.

I want Scented Supplies to help more people start, improve and grow their own businesses. Whether someone is making their first candle at home or scaling a brand that is already growing quickly, I want them to feel supported.

That has always been the aim.

We are still learning, still growing and still pushing ourselves to do more. There will always be challenges, but that is part of business. You have to keep going, keep adapting and keep backing yourself.

From South Yorkshire to the US, this is a big moment for us.

But I honestly feel like we are only just getting started.

Scented Supplies is the next step in our journey, and I am really excited to see what we can build.
